War. Blood. Death. Sadness. Guilt. As the third prince of the world's most powerful country, Fileatte, Kei knows none of those things. He is the outcast prince that everyone knows and laughs about in their homes. The boy without a mother. The boy who was born with silver hair. The boy who hides a cursed eye. Yet, he is hidden from these insults, sheltered by his title. But when the his father is murdered and Kei finds himself banished from his land he starts to find out about everything, though the rumors started to change and eventually vanished as people thought him dead. He enters war and sheds blood, his own and others. He fights to live, he kills to live. Kei feels sadness at the death of his loved ones; he feels guilt at having his hands bloodied by the warm red liquid of others. But these harden him. Kei becomes what no one thought he could become. He finds himself thrust into a battle between Goddesses. His gift that had made him an outcast lends him power and he becomes something beyond what even he could have imagined. Kei becomes a Goddesses Champion. Welcome to the Council of Champions. "How have I not heard of this story before? It was beautifully written.
