The best advice you can give a Scout is to take things one day at a time. As a senior member of the special operations squad and Hanji's right hand woman, you've learned that every day is bound to be a new adventure, whether you like it or not. Life with the Corps isn't all training and fighting for your life, though - it's also full of fun, friendships, and hope. A certain Captain of yours doesn't seem to quite understand that, and through a series of unfortunately fortunate events, you might just convince him otherwise.

All's well that ends well.

COMPLETE.

Levi/Reader. This is a VERY VERY VERY old fic, so please excuse the grammar, inconsistencies, and cringe! This story also lacks a definitive plotline, and is more like a collection of chronological mini-events.

If you're looking for a Levi/Reader story with plot and more realistic themes, check out my story "Veins of the Citadel" on Archive Of Our Own (link in bio).

Thank you for reading! :)

The longer you live like animals, the easier you turn into them. Living in walls was nothing new to you. Being from the underground you knew what it was like to be caged, to know there was a line, invisible or not, that you couldn't cross. You strived to be free of the underground, to see life on the surface. With a scarring past, you'd never had much going for you. That is until you learned how to fight and win. Once you had that skill, you quickly fought to the top, where the scouts located you. Now, fighting for a new team in a new world, you're given a fresh start, a way to forget the horrible labs and abandonment of the forgotten city. Again you're forced to start from the bottom, slowly chipping your way back to the top. You soon find yourself confronting your past, and looking into the future. Eventually, you find yourself coming face to face with a stoic hero who comes with a mysterious yet familiar past. As you learn to trust each other, you find your own impenetrable façade crumbling like the walls, all at the fault of one man - Levi Ackerman. {Book One} **Warning: This story contains some darker themes as it progresses, and is not for those who may be bothered by such.** ***Quick Disclaimer-I own only my own characters and plot line in this story, and have no ownership over AOT or its characters!***
