Furs Over Skins

I hadn't seen him in his skins ever since our first encounter. I was used his grey wolf watching me over the last week. Outside my window, outside of school, always in the trees. It was unsettling, and I had definitely become more a more wary person because of it. Sometimes I swear I could hear him growl whenever I was too close to a boy.

But I could care less. I didn't understand this mate business, and he had made it a point that he wouldn't be explaining anything to me, by choosing his furs over skins. So I'd go on with life as usual. Hell, maybe I'd date. Because my supposed "mate" was always in his furs.
