She just finished college, has a mediocre job, no hobbies and no boyfriend. Her life is all around a mess, she hides her past and her mental issues well.
Reed Hawkins is a playboy with a bad image for being a captain of an NHL team. His last relationship with America's sweetheart was displayed in all the tabloids along with his missteps after. He doesn't need to know what he's doing with his life, he just needs sponsorships and continuing to win games.
They cross paths as Leilani needs a partner for the rage room her ex rented her prior to their breakup. In which the night ends up with making a deal of a fake relationship for the sake of making her family happy but also saving his career. However, what happens when her past comes back to haunt her and she loses the control she has over hiding her issues?
