Her hands lay bare on his heart, his eyes meeting hers for only a fleeting moment. The crowd around us roared in applause as their dance came to an end but the only thing her mind registered was their breaths mingling with each others'. She stood still for a few more seconds while his eyes pierced her soul before Milo placed his hand on her lower back and lead her to the judges' table.
