How would you feel if one normal day, a fishing boat pulled you from your home, friends, and family and put you in a tank for all to see. This exact same thing happened to me.

A human boat had caught me while I was shopping with my gillfriends and put me in a glass box for all the world to see. I became famous as the first, alive mermaid to be seen by human eyes.

My days were spent with fish and any poor soul that had been captured until I was told that another mermaid had been caught.

AN ADOPTED WORK The little mermaid has been reborn. In his previous life, he trusted the wrong person, was sold as merchandise, and suffered a miserable fate. But in his new life, on the night he was drugged and almost met his end, he struggled to escape and ended up in the arms of a man. "Please save me..." Those beautiful eyes were filled with mist, the corners of his eyes were alluring, and his soft voice was full of pitiful pleading. The man, however, had a dark and brooding expression and stared at him for a long time. Only when the little mermaid was almost rendered helpless due to the effects of the drug did he finally say: "Alright." It is said that the blood of sea monsters can heal psychological trauma. So, the ruthless and stormy Marshal, who had been battered by mental storms, brought a little mermaid home. Everyone thought the little mermaid's fate was to have his blood drained and his body discarded in the wilderness. But later, someone saw... In the pouring rain, the Marshal held an umbrella by the car and bent slightly. No one knew what he said to the person inside, but they saw the half-opened car window being rolled down, and a fair little hand reached out and fiercely pinched the Marshal's ear, as if venting frustration. However, the Marshal, known for his cruelty and ruthlessness in the Empire's star domain, just smiled and then leaned down to give the person in the car a kiss. Very few people knew that the song of a mermaid was the true remedy for healing psychological trauma. In his previous life, the Marshal was the only one who extended a helping hand to the little mermaid. So, in this new life, he must ensure that the little mermaid avoids the predetermined path of death. This time, the entire universe is helping me to be with you. *In both lifetimes, they only have each other, and the little mermaid is reborn. ♪You can show your love and support to me by buying Kofi for me, link provided in the bio. "Let me prove to you I am unlike them." Thousands of years ago, there was a faraway land called Oceanum Collis. Many different people lived among each other in peace. Elves, mermaids, werewolves, and humans. After fighting hundreds of wars, the people came to a compromise and started to work together. Realms were united and civilization was born. Oceanum Collis was beautiful and peaceful, but with light comes darkness. The humans felt left out. While the others had magic and great strengths, they were nothing special. A young man, Basil Adelio, found that humans deserved more than to be farmers. But there was more to his plan. He was after the throne, so he could rule all over Oceanum Collis. Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories. A new world lies ahead of him, but it might not be as beautiful as he had hoped. A/n: Hey guys! So this is an original story. Please, do not copy the story or use my characters without my permission.
