The only thing standing between Cecilia Winters and a $15,000 baking scholarship was Algebra 3. She hated numbers, and they hated her too. With only 3 months left to pull her grade up to a B+, she starts to worry....and that worry whips into a full fledged panic when the sturdy crust that once was her life, slowly starts to crumble. Her grandfather falls ill, her little brother is already outshining her, and her parents are seriously pressuring her to choose a career that doesn't have anything to do with baking. Because apparently, opening a bakery in a town far, far from Morgan Mountain is not a smart move. She's just about to throw in the towel (literally and figuratively), when a Canadian stumbles into her classroom one day, throws out all the rules, and teaches her how to really bake pi.
