ODE TO SLEEP

Imagine never being able to remember anything. Not your name, where you came from, or even the faces of your parents. Imagine looking in the mirror and seeing yourself for the very first time, only to see the remnants of the damage inflicted on you. But you don't remember how that happened either. Imagine being halfway across the world in a place you know nothing about, afraid, and confused. Sounds scary, right?

This was the life Isaiah was forced to live. He didn't know what his real name was, nor how he ended up in this lavish mansion filled with warriors. He would have never expected himself to be standing amongst them one day. He never expected himself to become such a monster, with all of the blood of his victims constantly dripping from his hands. It was neverending.
