Lina Maka a 19 y/o vaping addict walks through the doors of the university she will dwell in for the next 4 miserable years of her life. Without knowing a single soul lingering throughout these halls she feels both stiff and wimpish of her new beginning which makes her automatically pull out her special 'calming tool' and immediately seeks shelter in the nearest room without noticing it was already occupied by the Music teacher, Mr M.
