Laxus' life was great, if a bit empty. He worked at his grandfather's pub 'The Fairy Tail' and was something of a local celebrity in his town. Not like he cared about what the masses of Magnolia would say. After all, they believed that a vampire lived in and stalked the town during the night.

But what happens when he comes face to face with the nocturnal creature? No, the nocturnal man. What happens when the myths start to fade into reality?
