We sat like that for an hour or so, each enveloped in our own thoughts. It was just reaching around 12 midnight when we stirred once again. "I should be going..." Dan said after he cleared his throat. I slid my fingers up his arm to the nape of his neck. "Stay." I whispered. He looked at me and kissed my forehead sweetly. He had to go I knew that, but I couldn't help but wish that he was spending the night.

  • How to Help Howell?

'Sometimes the reason I'm so tongue tied is because my brain moves a mile a minute when he's around me. Phil Lester is my hero.' Dan Howell is friendless, suffering in silence, and, without a doubt, invisible to his entire school. He is used to rejection from all of his peers, even his younger brother. No matter what Dan does, he's never noticed by anyone. Or so he thought. Phil Lester, a senior, so happened to have noticed Dan this entire time. Phil begins to show Dan what true friendship is whilst Dan begins to fall for the other. While Dan is being pried open by Phil, Dan is finding out about secrets Phil has been hiding for many years from everyone else in the school. The two discover that they are both in need of each other because without the other, they're incomplete.
