Lilli Morgan's parents were killed in the september 11 terrorist attacks, a day after she was born, and she's lived with her Gramma ever since. Nearing the fourteenth anniversary of her parents' death, the bully Calliver Mulligan, who was responsible for her best friend's death, punches her in the head when she wouldn't kiss him.
