In July 2001 I returned to Canada and was surprised with all that with the turn of millennium every thing was changed. The Immigration and Employment Canada office at Bloor and Dundas was no where where I used to go during the last decade of 20th century looking for job. This was a lucky office for me as I did find various jobs one after another. Then they used to display jobs on boards and seeker would call the employer to try his/her luck. But know all was computerized very fastly. I had in 1982 tired to learn computer programming at Gorge Brown college downtown campus for a year and then we learned punching cards to pass though a machine finding a way in to a big computer machine that used to produce the print out. I had some knowledge of PL 1 ( Programming Language One) besides business language COBOL with its four divisions. But had to give up because my saving were all gone and went for job search. This time once more the Bloor/Dundas office was helpful as I got account receivable job with a downtown firm. Then it was billing on a Mcphee system with a board whereupon writing invoices would make instant entries on the Lager page with carbon process...!All Rights Reserved
