Sixteen year old Sayde Martz is a tomboy. Her best friend is a boy named Athen Rivers.They have know each other since they were in grade 2. Together they are like brother and sister. Even though people would start rumors nothing could tear them apart. What will happen though when Athen's friend from where he used to live comes to visit for a while? Not to mention Sayde's mom is starting to find herself again a month after her father left, leaving Sayde on her own more then usual. Is there something going on with her mother? How will Sayde deal when tragedy strikes? What else could she ever be faced with?
