It... It isn't make-believe anymore. It's evolved from something they used to joke around with. But, their creations are now a reality, and now they're the pawns. Mark still struggled to believe this as he stared down his replica, but this was his reality now. Not some fantasy like it used to be.
The simplified version of his dilemma:
Logically, Dark shouldn't be here. Yet somehow, it made perfect sense for him to be.
"Well, are we gonna do something, or are we gonna keep staring one another down?" Dark questioned as he crossed his arms.
"I don't know, honestly, I'm not in any rush," Mark huffed, mimicking his alter's movements.
"Shame, I am."
