Fractures and First Dates - A Medical Romance

Casey Kirkpatrick may not know everything but she knows three things for certain:

One: The skeletal system is by far the coolest part of the human body.
Two: Life as an orthopedic physician assistant is freaking amazing.
And three: Dr. Gabriel DeLuca is out to ruin everything she's ever worked for.

After five years as an orthopedic PA, Casey Kirkpatrick is utterly dismayed when her surgeon decides to retire. Not only is Dr Xiao leaving Ferndale General, but he's turned over their quaint little practice to a flashy New Yorker who knows nothing about small-town life. Doctor Gabriel DeLuca might have the body of a gladiator and the face of a god but Casey isn't fooled. From their first meeting she realizes that Gabe could care less about what other people think, herself included. All he seems to care about is wrecking her routine, stealing her patients, and driving her to the breaking point. She can only hope to convince the hospital administrators of their mistake before it's too late.

Gabriel DeLuca is ready for a change. Straight out of a prestigious fellowship and determined to make a name for himself, Gabe moves to the small town of Ferndale, NY with the hope of making a fresh start. The last thing he expected was inheriting an outspoken physician assistant with a fiery personality and unforgettable good looks to match. When Gabe isn't busy trying to adapt to the absurdities of small town life he seems to be constantly butting heads with his new PA. On top of that, he can't seem to run fast enough to escape his past.

Can these two sworn enemies form a professional alliance or will both of their lives fracture into a million pieces?
