Sometimes life doesn't go the way that you planned. For Selene Lewis her entire life is turned upside down when a burglar breaks into her home while she is at school and kills her family. They had just become foster parents and hadn't had any foster children yet. They asked to foster Christian with adoption in mind. They adopted a Christian year later along with Elliott Trevelyan Grey 8/12/1981. Elliott's only living relative died in a car wreck while he was in his car seat in the back seat. Three years later they adopted a 14 year olds twin identical girls Mia Amelia Trevelyan Grey and Maya Anne Trevelyan Grey born 7/15/1987.
