Abolition Valley

Merton Valley, Arkansas, doesn't have the brightest history. Its lovely hills and valleys with the fall breeze, with sunflowers and pumpkins lining up highway 40. Yet something seems off. There have been no animals in the area for over seventy years, and there seems to be a slight arachnid problem in the area. Pherhaps It is back, the legend of the silhouette of man, a man brutally slaughtered and inflamed by the settlers in the 1860s. But the man in him is long gone. He is a demon, a fiend from hell, corrupted by ther brutal hatred of man, destroyed by any sense of good and evil. This thing wears a ragged dress suit over its burnt skin, its face covered by a half-black wooden mask of the most emotionless expression, where you see its eyes. The eyes out, just the sockets remain, blood engulfing out of them. For this is no longer a man. This is a shape. A silohuette.
