The Empowered

Nobody knows how, but one day people with strange powers suddenly began appearing throughout the world. A group of people acted quickly, capturing these people before others noticed. Then, for reasons only known to the kidnappers, they began torturing the empowered people. Not for information, only for fun. For years, these Empowered have suffered this.

Sarah, 13 years old, is one of these Empowered. She sits in the far cell of the facility, alone. Her only visitor is the most insane and cruel kidnapper, Lily.

Llana, 15, has only grim flashes of her memory. But as a kidnapper, she only craves to play "games" with the Empowered and paint the rooms red. Her past doesn't matter to her at all.
