Misaki's Red Thread- "The Missing Pieces" [Kimetsu no Yaiba Fanfiction]

"Have you ever heard of the demon slayer corps?"

Kyouko Misaki- The last Misaki standing. Her whole clan and family had been massacred by what she assumed to be a demon. The Misaki clan was known for giving birth and raising strong samurais and exorcists, everyone feared them. However, nothing lasts forever. Now that the Misaki clan have 'extinct', chaos arose from the dark of night.

"The head of the demon slayer corps is a guy, his name is Ubuyashiki."

On the run, the demons were hunting her down. Despite the chaos and danger, her focus was only on one thing: which is to find a man, he is known to be the head of the demon slayer corps, the guy she's looking for is non other than Ubuyashiki.

"That is no demon."

As time goes by, a red thread started to form. Connecting every scattered pieces that will uncover the truth. 'The Lost Chapter' in Kyouko's life.

"Some truths are better of untold. You know that better than anyone."

"Yes. That's why we're still alive, right? But some secrets can also hurt others, and this is one of them."

"Tell me, what is it that your hiding?"

(A/N): this is my first time writing a fanfic so yeah- and I know little to nothing about kny (I know most of the events that occured, but! I don't know the little details about it). Originally this was supposed to be Rengoku x reader requested by my friend but ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ "wouldn't it be interesting to make it like this?" I read a few fanfics for reference and yes I found something similar to the methode I'm using so...I tried doing it! (Basically the method of this story is inspired by a fanfic -specifically Bungou Stray Dogs Fanfic, I think it's in my reading list(?)- and since this is a request that I have procrastinated for months, so why not?)
