But how do you think these same people would feel about you allowing and creating such horrible situations to happen with them?
Would they be Enraged? Miserable? Question their own existence? Maybe even rebel against your great authority?
I'll let that sink in as I have a more fun question: What if there was a special place for these Alternate Universes?
And what if the people in these distorted worlds got into this special place and learned the truth of their own realities?

Artificial Normalcy
Lightbulb wakes up in Hotel OJ to find everything... perfect. Too perfect. Everyone's acting like the best possible versions of themselves - Knife is gentle and soft-spoken, Taco and Pickle are happily together with no tension, and Balloon has completely dropped his desperate people-pleasing act. Even MePhone seems more stable and kind. At first, Lightbulb thinks this is amazing! All the conflict and drama that used to stress her out are gone. But something feels fundamentally wrong. The conversations are too polite, the smiles too consistent, and everyone keeps insisting they've "always been this way." When Lightbulb tries to bring up past arguments or drama, everyone looks at her with genuine confusion. "Lightbulb, why would you think Knife ever threatened anyone?" "Taco would never manipulate people, that's such a mean thing to suggest!" They seem genuinely hurt that she'd imply they were ever anything but perfect. She has to choose: pretend to be the "normal" version of herself that they want, or risk everything to restore her friends' true selves. But the more she fights against the artificial normalcy, the more she questions if maybe being "fixed" wouldn't be so bad after all... Useless, hated, depressed was all Balloon felt in his life. He thought he could change it during his time in Inanimate Insanity. But things didn't. It's been a month after his and Nickel and now Paintbrush's elimnation and life didn't get much better. Sure Balloon made a friend, which was Cheesy, but he still felt utterly alone. And when his plan to apologize to everyone backfires.... It leads to a big fight. This fight would last days with everything being the same. Until, that is... When Nickel brings out the heavy hitter. i disown this fic lmao i made so many weird and uncomfortable writing choices in it. keeping it up for archival purposes only. Baseball, Lightbulb, and eventually Balloon are captured by Test Tube and forced to partake in experiments that slowly get more and more dangerous. Meanwhile, their friends back at Hotel OJ are desperately trying to find them. (Yes, this is another one of those evil Test Tube experiment fics lol) Trigger warnings: kidnapping , torture , psychological distress , unethical experiments , blood descriptions , electrocution , serious injuries (each chapter will have its own tws these are just the commonly reoccurring ones) Inspired by Inanimate Experiments, Experiment 21 & the song Telescope by Cavetown There will be polybrights mentions during the sections at Hotel OJ (or just outside of the lab in general) jic that bothers anyone. This would be electricity manipulation. Water and electricity doesn't mix well, especially with Lightbulb. As she cannot touch water without her electricity coursing through it. One day, Lightbulb accidentally gets water on herself and "dried" her hands off, not knowing that she didn't get it all off. And she had went to go meet her friends in the living room, and a fatal accident happens...
