Is just so fun to create and see different outcomes of events or a whole new world with these familiar faces in it...
But how do you think these same people would feel about you allowing and creating such horrible situations to happen with them?
Would they be Enraged? Miserable? Question their own existence? Maybe even rebel against your great authority?
I'll let that sink in as I have a more fun question: What if there was a special place for these Alternate Universes?
And what if the people in these distorted worlds got into this special place and learned the truth of their own realities?

What's It Like Outside? [An II Fanfiction]
i disown this fic lmao i made so many weird and uncomfortable writing choices in it. keeping it up for archival purposes only. Baseball, Lightbulb, and eventually Balloon are captured by Test Tube and forced to partake in experiments that slowly get more and more dangerous. Meanwhile, their friends back at Hotel OJ are desperately trying to find them. (Yes, this is another one of those evil Test Tube experiment fics lol) Trigger warnings: kidnapping , torture , psychological distress , unethical experiments , blood descriptions , electrocution , serious injuries (each chapter will have its own tws these are just the commonly reoccurring ones) Inspired by Inanimate Experiments, Experiment 21 & the song Telescope by Cavetown There will be polybrights mentions during the sections at Hotel OJ (or just outside of the lab in general) jic that bothers anyone. (That's Paintbrush x Lightbulb x Test Tube x Fan btw) (Test Tube and Lightbulb's relationship isn't romantic at all after the prologue though dw) Note: This is the first fanfiction I've ever wrote, so it might be a little rough around the edges. Test tube is acting strange, she's more interested in dangerous experiments, and she keeps insisting she doesn't need to sleep. One day she brings an idea up with Fan, he seems unsure at first, but he's so deeply in love with her he agrees to her plan. Lots of Fantube. Like a lot a lot. Currently writing a different fanfic so this one won't be updated as much! (I don't really like some of the things I did in this fic so I'll probably rewrite it at some point) (In this fic Yin and Yang are in different bodies!) Characters belong to animation epic! There I'll be tons of kissing and romance. I love my ships, there will be multi ships, there will be gay/lesbian, rare pairs! (There will be no smut or any sexual interactions!) ⚠️Trigger Warnings⚠️ Blood, torture, self hate, self harm, suicide, depression, swearing, like one maybe two sexual innuendos, murder.
Lightbulb's Timeline (Inanimate Insanity)
Lightbulbs missing Paintbrush and the rest of her friends. When she has a chance to go back and fix things, she takes it. Lightbulb goes and fucks around w/ time again and causes a butterfly effect. There will be ships in this, or at least implied ships. TW for depression, clingyness, swearing, manipulation, god complex, guns, physical fights and arguments, blood, death, and other stuff I'll add if and when it shows up

When you're a child, it's easy to fold into the happiness of being a child. The world's weights don't exist for you. As we grow, we discover pain; Are we really discovering it, or have our eyes simply opened to pain? Their childhood is but a fuzzy memory, blocking away the mental pain. Even now, they can't quite remember if they had a family or if they were loved. Even as a port mafia executive, they don't have much. Their only true bond is with a boy who knows the betrayal within their heart. It should have been them, not the one who put the betrayal in their heart. When they are hit with an ability and their whole body and mind turned back into that vulnerable child, why is it Dazai who gets the job of looking after them? The day was supposed to be wonderful, instead, it ended in hell, and now they just lost it. The guilt on themselves, on others, and on those who loved them. Their loved ones... The story is non-canon to the show except SOMEWHAT the characters' personalities, Bot (aka BowBot?) will look different, and the story will follow a world of ours, but slightly different. Artificial Normalcy
Lightbulb wakes up in Hotel OJ to find everything... perfect. Too perfect. Everyone's acting like the best possible versions of themselves - Knife is gentle and soft-spoken, Taco and Pickle are happily together with no tension, and Balloon has completely dropped his desperate people-pleasing act. Even MePhone seems more stable and kind. At first, Lightbulb thinks this is amazing! All the conflict and drama that used to stress her out are gone. But something feels fundamentally wrong. The conversations are too polite, the smiles too consistent, and everyone keeps insisting they've "always been this way." When Lightbulb tries to bring up past arguments or drama, everyone looks at her with genuine confusion. "Lightbulb, why would you think Knife ever threatened anyone?" "Taco would never manipulate people, that's such a mean thing to suggest!" They seem genuinely hurt that she'd imply they were ever anything but perfect. She has to choose: pretend to be the "normal" version of herself that they want, or risk everything to restore her friends' true selves. But the more she fights against the artificial normalcy, the more she questions if maybe being "fixed" wouldn't be so bad after all... Content warning: Contains descriptions of medical content such as needles, surgeries, and existential stress. Also implied Lightbrush and a tad bit of Mephoj.
