It's been 8 months since Mae joined the police service, but she has done nothing except chasing after thieves and screaming "stop!". But now that an interesting case has gotten into her team's hand she can finally enjoy some thrill. Wait-NO! What thrill? The new captain, Ethan Arters,the Mr. Perfect of their office, is getting on her nerves. Yeah,  he might look sexy and have a nice body  but the poison on his tongue is greater than the viper's. She even doubts that he and her colleague, Lucas Harris whom she has a crush on, are secretly in a relationship! 



"Don't worry, I won't tell them anything. "

"What? "

"Umm, I won't tell them that you had dinner with Lucas and spent the night at his home yesterday."

"So? " Ethan raised one of his eyebrow. 

"Ye-Yeah! There's nothing wrong with it! " Mae laughed awkwardly and head into the office. 

Ethan still couldn't understand what's wrong with having dinner and staying in your cousin's place.
