Alright, I'm at it again! You can read this one alone, but there are references that come from the first book. Somewhere in New Rome, a son of Ares discovers a loophole, a flaw if you may will in the Roman camp's governing and quickly makes his way to a high stand of power over the camp. He is in control of the camp, immediately abolishing Frank and Reyna as Praetor. His first decree?... wiping out the children of the eldest gods.
