Hanako remembers listening intently to their mother's story as she told her and her siblings the meaning behind their father's kagura dance. It is meant to be danced from sunset to sunrise, to pray for Hinokami-sama to protect their family from illness and evil intentions. So how could this happen? Why did this happen? Was Hinokami-sama angry at her family?
Her mother and her younger siblings are dead. Her big brother and big sister are demons. She's the only one left. The only one able to get revenge for her family. The only one left to cure her big brother and her big sister. Why?
Tanjiro and Nezuko are confident that she can do it, but how can she? She's isn't kind like Tanjiro or brave like Nezuko. She's just a stupidly stubborn girl. Tanjiro is the eldest sibling. He was meant to take on the family name. She doesn't know if she can do this...
...or this is a sort of role reversal AU, but both Tanjiro and Nezuko are demons and Hanako survives and becomes a Demon Slayer.
