Kane edric, a legendary vampire-werewolf-warlock, widely known by his notorious aliases as "the beast" and "the perfect killer" over so many lifetimes due to his innate nature to completely wreak havoc, chaos and terror wherever he treads. He came to Black Rock city, new york, posing as a high school student in a school for supernaturals secretly taking out the five powerful covens that have been protecting the state from the threats of vampire species for a thousand years.
It was later revealed that kane is indeed not the only one terrorizing the supernatural world and the human world for thousands of years. He has a twin brother named Kaspar Edric who has been secretly helping him unleash destruction and terror, and becoming the most wanted supernatural entities in the world. It was also revealed that the ancient twins were the very last members of a destructive coven known as "the Prometheus" that was destroyed during the first purge some twenty thousand years ago.
