Two people that hate each other are forced together against their will when tragedy strikes home to care for the one thing they treasure most in this world. Wading through grief, confusion, and anger to hopefully find some peace in the wake of heartbreak.

Ronnie Logan is twenty-nine, living in Halifax, and fighting for a permanent position producing in the NHL. She feels stuck, and trapped in her life, she needs more. The only light in her life is Amelia. Her god-daughter. 

Steve Rogers, is thirty-two, a well-established chef with his own store he's just looking to survive day-to-day life. Enjoying his food, his friends, and his family, and most of all spending his free time with his Amore, his god-daughter, Amelia.
