"What can we do? What can we do, Laius? How do we prevent this from happening?" She begged, gently hitting his chest with her hands. "Tell me! Tell me what to do!!"

A shadow fell over Laius's face as the moon shifted in the sky. He looked down to his hand with a grim expression. He passed Verri the cleaver and made the instructions simple. "Cut it off..." He placed his hand against the ground. "Just one swing."

A couple of strangers embark on a journey to escape their pasts when they both meet along the road to small town Fogs Brook, a town plagued with monster infestations and illness. The two learn about each other's messed up pasts while attempting to save the town from utter collapse in this not-so-slow burn fantasy romance.

20 parts Complete Mature
AVAILABLE ON AMAZON & KINDLE On the planet Keodis, upon the western continent, Uestron, inside the Raesifiin Empire, in the small naval city of Cyripo, the story begins when thirteen diverse strangers answer a strange pamphlet to a quest. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.

170 parts Complete

When she dies of a serious illness, she still remembers her friends from a MMORPG that she had played years ago, and an NPC that has remained in her heart ever since. But when she opens his eyes again, she finds himself in the lonely square that had been the beginning of that game. Has she returned to the place she thought it was just a fantasy? Will she survive? Can she find him? She has only one option before her: to step forward and find out what she is doing there. Note: this is the second volume. It is recommended to start with the first one ^^
