September of eighth grade, the town of Rowe was shook by the disappearance of Rowe Middle School student, Avery Carter. It's his former bully, Brooklyn Farrow who finds him after four years. She's utterly bemused to what she understands is soon going to happen because of the grudge Avery has held over her spitefulness in the past. How far is Avery willing to go over childish meanness that happened four years ago?
