This is a Meow Skulls x Reader Fortnite fanfiction story that takes place during Chapter 3, Season 4. Here's a summary:

Ever since the Herald and the chrome appeared on the island, major catastrophe has been threatening the Loopers, the Island, and quite possibly, all of reality itself. Y/N, Jones, AMIE, and Paradigm have been trying to figure out how they can stop this madness and rescue the Seven before it's too late.

All of this has been affecting Y/N in many ways, and stress is definitely one of those effects. After the group decides to lay low for a bit before they're able to receive new information from Paradigm, Y/N decides to go to Rave Cave to try to somewhat ease themselves from this madness.

This is where they meet Meow Skulls, a humanoid calico cat, and start to grow a friendship together, and something more later on...

Unfortunately, it's done in pairs this year. Even worse, he's stuck with Azure, notorious for his flippant demeanor. His living situation gets worse and his scholarship is at risk. Azure notices Elliot's struggles and the two make a deal. Surely Azure's up to something, but what? Regardless, Elliot isn't in a position to refuse. ...Maybe they'll find and lose Liberation. -/- If you're unsure about this reading this story, I hope you'll at least stick around to chapter 7 when the story begins ramping up. This story is a slow burn, enemies to friends to lovers. Please do not take this story at surface value as there is a lot of subtext. Be aware: the story can be extremely subtle. The story delves into various topics with social commentary so if you want a nuanced modern romance story, I highly suggest you give this story a try. Elliot is a strong protagonist, just less traditional. Updates will come on Fridays at 4 p.m. (PST) with most months having at least one update. Here's a summary: Y/N has been stuck in the Loop for a long time now, and throughout their time in it, they've witnessed a lot of events occur. Out of all of them, though, there was one particular event that interested them the most. A special one that involved the Device. It was during Y/N's time as a Ghost agent. When Midas finally showed his true allegiance, he activated the Device, attempting to push back the Storm. That wasn't all it did, though. It also managed to transport Y/N to the Bridge for a few, short times. During those times, they always ended up in some sort of office, hearing many voices outside of it. The last time, though, was when they met Agent Jones, who was a member of the Imagined Order at the time. About 10 months have passed since the Device event, with Y/N continuing to think about who that strange man was. However, they would soon meet again when the IO loses control of the Zero Point, forcing Jones to betray the organization and get help from the Seven, along with a surprise companion as well.
