Noah Davis is a shy six year old little boy about to get a fresh new start with his mom in a subdivision called "Bright Beginnings" where he meets the girl next door, six year old Suzie Lea.  They don't hit it off at first, as Noah only cares for his stars, books, and his mom. However as they grow up so does their relationship. But what happens when Noah moves two towns over? 
They both grow up and move on, and senior year approaches quickly. so quick Suzie forgot all about her senior project. She finally decides on becoming a pen-pal to interview about differences in growing up. as time progresses a feeling of closeness consumes both her's and pen-pal's life and they both fall into a trance, However this is all until the truth is revealed to Suzie. Only does tragedy bring Noah back to his childhood subdivision to see his old friend one last time.
