A deafening sound shot through the city, swamped in terror. The light shined on Tokyo Tower. People screamed and panicked, but three kids knew.

Darkness blanketed the Shinobi World--whether from greed or grief depended on who was telling the story. Corruption rose. Death followed. Evil wore the skin of loved ones. Time was running out. And their last hope was none other than the Shinobi Worlds most notorious criminal. The hero couldn't save them, and the villain simply wouldn't. They were doomed from the start. --------- I did change the title bc it was always originally going to be named "Perfect World" instead of "This Dark, Reanimated Heart of Mine" or "Dark, Reanimated Love" and after changing so many things and following behind on posting I'm just going to leave everything as I originally planned

A flash of light, a hiss of static, and a city of 50,000 became a ghost town in an instant. The area was cordoned off, eye witnesses were taken away in black helicopters, never to be seen again, and officially, the city no longer exists. The only people left inside the cordon are Curi, Crypto, and Tech, three members of an expedition into the Zone who can't remember who sent them, why they're exploring the Zone, or even their real names. Scars. Many had formed on the child's body as she listened to her family get ripped to shreds. The mountain whispered in the cold night, it told her to run and not to stop. It was the voice of her mother, even her older brother, and it echoed in her mind despite the growing pain of falling and getting thrown down multiple times. Demons. It was unbelievable. Well until she saw it with her own eyes. How? Why? Attacked. Her family was attacked by a demon. They told her to run. So she did. She ran and ran and ran. She was injured, but ran. So many questions filled her head, but she ran like her family told her too. Suddenly, a man saved her from another attack. It was fast and wielded fire with his blade. Who was he? A Demon Slayer. Why had he come? To save people from the beast, but she was the only one to save if he could save her from such injuries. She was younger than his son, but thought they'd get along well... so he killed the demon and quickly took the girl to one of his fellow peers, someone who could actually help. When she woke up... she saw a boy, a few years older than her. He seemed bright and caring, something new for the girl. What happens after that? What troubles will the girl face after that incident?
