He turns back to face me and I immediately drag out my dagger placing it in front of his throat. Unfortunately for me, he thought to do the same with his own silver dagger.

He looks in my eyes and smirks. "Well won't you look at that?" He says, not moving. "What gave me away?" He questions.

"You didn't question when I said I wanted a level 2." I answer. He gives me a full-on grin. "I knew I should have said something. Oh well, you're here now which is all I really needed." He says moving the dagger away from my throat. I look at his calm and collected self and slowly put my dagger away as well.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I am visiting under unusual circumstances. I won't bore you with the details but I have lost something of mine and I was hoping you could help me find it." " I'm sure I can help you find whatever you need." He was slightly confused. "But what exactly have you lost?" "My mate." Silence. "Does she know you are looking for her?" "Oh yes, she knows." Camila started choking on her food. She tried to maintain her spluttering so she wouldn't draw attention to herself. Taine noticed and decided to keep going. His eyes bored into her. "She actually decided to run from me... I don't know if she was a coward or just too weak and selfish to even consider giving me chance." She threw her cutlery down and stood up, leaning over the table. Her teeth were bared and a low growl emitted from the back of her throat. She felt hairs rising on her arms and neck. Usually even-tempered, she was now bubbling with rage. Taine didn't react well to her growl and mirrored her pose. He was trying to put her in her place, into submission. She was not having it. --- Destiny's collide, they crash and they scar. Rough seas, tidal waves, fighting for dominance in an ocean so deep... He walks forward, pressing the blade into his throat. His skin is taunt against the serrated edge, and blood beads around it until it drips down his neck in a crimson trail. My eyes widened, wanting it. He is looking at me with those dangerous, glinting green eyes, daring me. "Kill me, then. If you feel nothing, you can kill me. Then you can leave. The choice is up to you. It always has been," He whispers. His words leave me as cold as the blade at his throat. My heart is subjected to this stabbing pain, like I'd turned the knife on myself, and I would rather it be like that. "But if you don't," he whispers," you are mine and all mine. We will rule the dawn of a new age, we will complete our bond, and you will forget about her. Make your choice." I can hear my heart beat in my ears, and I swallow agaisnt the rush. These are my options. Kill him, or agree to be his. I make my own choice. I can not take my freedom away. I can not be the mate he wants, but I can not kill him. With a deep breath, I turn the knife on myself. Aurora, a girl with only one name and abandoned at birth in a war torn land, finds herself lost in a sea of witches, drowning in everything she can never have. Something dwells in the unknown shadows of Aurora's soul, something lurking just behind the screen of consciousness, something passed down through the generations as greater beings try to avoid the annihilation of our world. "What do you want to know?" He asked then he continued walking. "Why do you have an army?" Brylee was the first one to ask. "One, to protect the mountain. Two, to find the descendants. Three, to protect them." He gave them a direct answer. "If the descendants have gifts, why the need to protect them?" This time it was Briony who asked. "Even though they have gifts, not everyone could protect themselves like you. Not all have physical strengths and speed. You'll find out what I mean when you started to meet them. For now, you cannot meet everyone since they are in the city." He replied with his thick accent. "You said you protect them, from who?" Brina asked in a way that one could tell that the gears in her head are working. "Humans," He casually said as he continued to walk on a never-ending land of snow. The sun is shining but it did nothing to warm them. "Humans?" Bianca looks astounded. "Supernatural may seemed to be powerful and greedy at the beginning but as years gone by and humans had taken over the world they become more powerful and greedy. They wouldn't be on top of the food chain if they were not." He speaks as if he has a deep hatred towards humans. "Aren't you human?" Brylee asked making Gavril laugh. "You do not understand it, do you?" He said with a mocking tone.
