Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. "Yes, however, this mission did not require your presence nor your opinion," he replies candidly. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. "I rejected you." I said it such a calm voice and surprised myself. He stood there across the table staring at me with a face of horror. My claws extended from my hand, pushed deep in my chest and surrounded my still beating heart. "N....o." His voice cracked as he shook with rage, anger, betrayal and heart ache. "I rejected you." My voice coming out softer at and did the finally squeeze on my still beating organ. I drop to the ground and slowly I lost consciousness. "YOU CAN NOT LEAVE ME!!" He screams next to her now lifeless body. "You can...not leave...me." He says as the tears flow from his eyes as he holds her lifeless body. "You left me.." He collapses over her his breath ragged. We have been on the run for days now. The safety of my children is my priority. I was betrayed in the worst way, and I could not watch him hurt us any longer. I never saw my life going this way but here I am running for my life and my children's. This was the last bus stop, and I had a choice to make. I hope that I would not make the wrong one. He could find us at any moment and I imagine him dragging me all the way back by my hair. I didn't know who to trust but sometimes you just have to take a leap. Darn it, the stinking window won't freaking open. I guess there's only one choice left, break the window. I punched the window with my knuckles as it shattered into pieces within seconds. A muscular man with a black and white suit start running towards means soon as he saw me. He was a bodyguard. I got into the room and did an upper cut on the bodyguard. He fell on his butt but he stood up quickly to attack me ... He was too slow. I immediately kicked him in the head as he dropped to the floor. I looked at the desk in the room with a computer and ran towards it. As I slammed in my hard drive. "Okay I'm ready C copy it." I whispered to the microphone in my ear. "Okay I got it in 5... 4... 3..." Charles started to counting down but another person walked into the room ... It was Edwin with his suit and slick back hair.
