   Michael's First Day Celebrating Halloween is a children's short story that goes on an adventure with Michael as he tries to find out the meaning of this holiday. Is it to for religious reasons, such as to celebrate the dead, or is it just a holiday to play bobbing apples? You decide. 
   Michael in this story is portrayed as an inquisitive, innocent young boy who has been told that he will go to his cousin Gregory's house to find more answers about this holiday.
