she clutched his wrist so tight he thought his entire right arm was going to be ripped off. but he couldn't bear to look at her, a hero just died.

she was shaking, leg bouncing as she stood in front of the very thing that haunted her every night.

"Come here, dear. It's over."

she stood frozen, among the hundreds of wizards and witches, faces full of dread and despair as they all glanced at the limp body the half giant was carrying. silent hot tears streaming down every students faces as the realization set in.

she couldn't move. frozen in fear. she knew the consequences of not joining him. she knew it would end in death

she looked to the gryffindor next to her. his eyes werent wavering as he stared at the snake like thing infront of him.

she was a snake, the blood of slytherin ran through her vains,

but she had to be a lion. she had to be brave.

not for herself, not for the man next to her.

for him, Harry James Potter, who died for her sins.
