The sleek black sedan tore through the neon-lit streets, its tires screeching against the asphalt as it dodged through traffic with expert precision. Behind it, a pair of flashing police lights illuminated the night, casting an eerie glow on the surrounding buildings. With a sharp turn, the sedan narrowly avoided colliding with a delivery truck, its driver skillfully maneuvering through the narrow gap. The pursuing car followed closely, its sirens wailing in the night as it fought to keep pace. The chase intensified as the sedan darted down a deserted alleyway, its engine roaring with ferocity. But the car was relentless, closing in with each passing second. Tension hung thick in the air as both vehicles raced through the labyrinth of city streets, the thrill of the chase driving them forward. Suddenly, the sedan swerved onto a dimly lit bridge, its headlights piercing the darkness as it hurtled towards the other side. The car followed suit, its tires screeching as it struggled to maintain control on the narrow span. As they neared the end of the bridge, the sedan made a daring move, veering sharply onto a winding mountain road that loomed ahead. The police car hesitated for a moment, then accelerated, determined not to let their quarry escape. The mountain road twisted and turned, a treacherous path lined with jagged rocks and steep cliffs. But neither driver faltered, their determination unyielding as they pushed their vehicles to the limit. The police car got sided to the black car and the female shouted "slow the car for fuck sake. Your break is not working, please just listen to me once, it is a misunderstanding" but male didn't slow down and looked at the road with more rage. Without any other option the police car crosses the black one and takes a sharp turn in such a way blocking the car to stop it. Black car crashed down to the police car and pushed it at the end of the mountain cliff. Read the story to understand this mystery.

She sat in the café, enjoying her black coffee like every Monday morning. Black coffee, like her heart, she thought over and over again, smiling. She just skimmed the latest article on the front page with her left glance. Reports of new missing people were no longer so foreign to her. The names of the victims were, as if archived, in her head. -The police are doing their best to find the missing people and catch the perpetrator...- She grimaced in reluctance and looked toward the intersection at the end of the main street. A police car with two police officers, with [typical] donuts and coffee to go. Typical - she thought out loud. Her view was suddenly blocked. A black car stopped in front of the café. The door opened and a young man-early 30s, she guessed-got out. A black suit, red tie, shiny dancing shoes. [Typical] businessmen. His intense gaze rested on her. She looked at her gold watch-her father's keepsake. 7:01 a.m. "You're late" "Just a minute" She looked at the clock again. 7:02 a.m. "No, two" With an elegant gesture, he invited her in. She left the coffee cold, as there would be another opportunity. They sat quietly opposite each other. She placed her red coat on her thighs. It was nice and warm in here. ,,Who?" He pressed a small collection of files into her hand. -Amara Smith-
