Growing up having what many perceived as "The perfect life" conditioned me into pretending to be happy, I never allowed myself to say out loud how miserable and out of place I always felt.

  However, the fantasy would not last long.  I had to learn quickly that my existence was what every Vampire on the face of the earth had been waiting for for thousands of years.

  As it was written in the books, only one more woman could give birth and create pureblood vampires again, her existence had to be preserved at all costs.
