Dr. Cecilia Maine moved to Hell's Kitchen to get a fresh start. New York was a no-go ever since aliens attacked and destroyed her clinic. Arguably, Hell's Kitchen isn't the greatest place for a new life, but hey.

Although, when she meets the charming lawyer Matt Murdock, she decides that maybe it isn't so bad. As long as every meeting doesn't involve her stitching him back together on her couch.
