The world has ended. Billions killed, few ( if any ) left, and the only one not affected by the radiation that pollutes the air is a girl. A young girl who knows, but is curious as to what lies beyond the many gates of her impregnable "bubble fortress". Her father, a leading scientist who tried to prevent the inevitable fall, left her safe in the chamber used to hold all of society's treasures. But unbeknownst to her, a dark force of those left behind want what she has... and they will go to any lengths to have it..

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut. The only way the people can breathe fresh oxygen is by a hole in a hidden room that leads up to the surface. The hole and the room are guarded by burly guards, and only people over the age of eighteen are allowed to leave the underground city to collect resources. Sky dislikes these arrangements, however.
