Magnus had a very abusive father. He would always hit him. His mom ended up leaving when he was two. She couldn't handle all the abuse. Sadly she didn't take Magnus with her. He was left with an abusive jerk and eventually sold a year later.
The people that bought him were "scientists" and they experimented on kids. Magnus was no longer named Magnus. Instead his name was 023. He slowly forgot his name, his ability to speak, and most of his memory.
About four years later, a woman name Sarah, the only nice person in the facility, helps him and the remaining experiments to safety.
Days later, Benton Dusk would find the humanoid creatures. Starving and afraid. Little did they all know, they would be a family.
