A Vicious Bounty

Enjoying a peaceful nomadic life, marriage is the furthest thing from the mind of Kalzaya, beauteous daughter of the Sun Wing clan's leader. She has turned down suitor after suitor for years, but her parents have now given her an ultimatum: marry before her 20th year or they will choose a husband for her.

For Qadan, leader of the notorious and infamous Crescent Scale clan that has been wreaking havoc across the southern territories and even spearing deep into foreign land, marriage is unfortunately on the forefront of his troubled mind. With his first and only wife, childhood friend and mother of his son, becoming more frail by the day, his advisors hound him daily to find a second, stronger spouse to stand by his side.
