Hiromi Kadota was one of the founders of Union Academy, and made it for the sole purpose of training a new generation of heroes to protect the world. However the Union Council became corrupt and power-hungry, and the other headmasters planned to get rid of all powerless students. Hiromi knew this secret and tried to expose them, but got killed along with his wife. To try to hide their secret about his death, they decided to enroll his son Souichi as they decided to try to prevent him from finding out what happened to his father. However, Shouichi decided to use the Demons Driver and the Vistamps that his father left to him as a gift. He decided to lay down his life to ptotect people instead of fighting for fame and money like the current Union Heroes do. And made friends with a Slimebiote named Skurd. Now me and my friends are unlicensed heroes who defend the world from destruction. Mainly because it's the right thing to do, but partially to show Union Academy what kind of hero I am now. And I can't wait to see the look on their faces."
