"Hello Camille, I'm Dr. Thompson. Thank you for agreeing to do this interview. I'm writing an article about the aspects of self-care revolving around plus-sized- women. Your therapist has told me a lot about your weight journey. If you don't mind, I'd like to know a bit about what prompted you to stop it," The brunette began and gave me a warm smile from her clipboard.

I reflect her smile, my fingers picking at the loose strands of hair hanging above my face, "What prompted me to stop it...." I trail off and lean back a little against the woolen couch in her office, "I suppose I'll try to explain the best I can."
