At first it was mild... but like a wild fire, it spread round the city and nearly around the world... humanity was pushed back, homes destroyed....bond broken.... and many more problems came. But after all, humans can adapt quickly. And quick did they adapt... creating weapons that work for both infected and mercenaries alike, humanity had found a way to survive again. Despite the population reducing to an absolute needle size... humanity didn't give up... And now.... something else seems to have appeared... something that would affect everything..

The rain gently tapped against the window, as I watched the trees grow rapidly in numbers. It was finally "Goodbye" Santa Fe, and "Hello" Oregon. I sighed, wondering if I'd ever see the sun again. "Danny, play with me". My younger brother asked, from the backseat. I looked back at him, as he meticulously shot at zombies on some random phone game. I smiled, "it looks like you are doing just fine by yourself". "Hey!" My dad bellowed out, "What did I tell you about playing those kinds of games Diego!". 14+ COMPLETED!! romantic short story "Loni, please." His voice is so gentle and so longing, I weaken. Swallowing, I finally dare meet his gaze. My fear of disappointment vanishes. "Please say something." "You made me feel special and loved one minute and the next I don't even know if you're alive." "I..I just really needed time and space to figure out you and me and us.
