Upside Down - S. Harrington - ON HOLD

It wasn't unusual for Keeliana "Keely" Owens to argue with her parents and it wasn't unusual for her to trek through the woods to Steve Harrington's house afterwards and stay the night. He was her best friend after all.

So on the night of November 8th 1983 when her parents were yelling that she was spending too much time with "that Harrington boy" and that her high B's weren't good enough, Steve wasn't surprised when she called telling him to unlock his window. What did surprise Steve, however, was that she never showed up.

Keely knew the path through the woods better than she knew how to ride a bike or tie her shoe. It wasn't easy to make it through, there was no trail and it was dark, but she'd always been able to do it.

However, on November 8th 1983, she tripped on a tree root and hit her head on a rock. She woke up some place like home, but not quite, she spent the next 24 hours trying to find a way out, but she only found one thing, a monster. She was trying not to fall victim to the thing and still find a way out.
