Jasrah grew up with her step mom and step sister in Kaduna. She was subjected to different types of injustice. She lost her mom while giving birth to her and after Graduating from High school, her dad passed away due to heart failure. Life hasn't been easy for her. She got married to Hassan. I feel my heart squeeze knowing his promise can never come to pass, ever. Death is nearing me so nothing can be done. Many of our peers don't understand many of the things that we do, the way we dress, the things we eat, they don't really get why we do it. They're to shy to ask out in the open, so they'll always have that word nagging at the back of their heads going "why."
