"Alice, my dear, I didn't know you wanted to hold hands so much," he declared, and Alice's lips slowly curved into a smile at his insufferable attitude. "But I am more than happy to indulge in this." His fingers interlaced with hers at the words and squeezed her hand tightly. She sighed, rolling her eyes at his attitude but now, her smile was fixed in amusement on her face, and she blew out a sigh, squeezing his hand back in response.

"You are insufferable, Theon," Alice muttered, although her tone lacked the bite her words had.
