What was meant to be an easy quest in a woodland mansion goes wrong and the encounter with its magical inhabitants leaves Dream cursed so that anyone who sees his face will instantly fall in love with him. Now it's up to George to save his best friend before the curse turns deadly. Can he break the curse without his own feelings getting in the way? A realistic medieval minecraft au that I haven't really thought out too well. This is mostly about exploring the relationship between Dream and George because I think they have a very beautiful friendship. Originally posted and completed on ao3 because I didn't have a cover for wattpad. The plan was for me to draw a cool cover because I like to think I'm a pretty good artist, but I'm also lazy so here's a stock photo I put text over. Their plan never could seem to work out. Maybe that was due to Dream making sure it would never get a chance to happen. Maybe it was always the inevitable they tried to ignore. Either way, they hadn't spoken to each other in years, George never arriving in Florida and abandoning the idea of ever moving there with Dream. Now, they didn't know who the other was anymore. Until Dream gets a text. Until he begins to think that they might still have time left for something again.
