Sonic found himself to be content with his royal life, and the slight mischief that follows. But there was a problem- his mother, Queen Aleena has been secretive and quiet, more watchful as the great annual ball was coming in around the corner. Sonic acts out to gain his mothers attention, perhaps to snap her out of her trance, but only to dismay. His siblings don't approve but understand, arguments insue, the after party is nuclear.
Shadow dawns on the unruly prince from the arc, casting a looming shadow on the family. the king and war general mephiles threatens the security of the möbius treaty, but he'll renew it... for a Price.
