In 1997, two young journalists, Rachel and Max, fresh out of university, are searching for a compelling story to submit to a documentary film competition. Their search takes a turn when they stumble upon an old newspaper article from 1952 about a mysterious and unexplained death- one that has long been forgotten.
Decades ago, Norman's Circus of Wonders was on its way to becoming Los Angeles' greatest circus, but everything came to a tragic end when its star performer died under strange circumstances. The circus burned to the ground, and its name faded into history. Now, forty-five years later, Rachel and Max are determined to uncover the truth behind the long-buried mystery.
